Seb Lorez is a Zurich based musician. Active on the local music scene for several years now, he composes songs and performs them live since the release of his first EP “Slide Away” in spring 2019.

To say he’s just a pop artist wouldn’t do him justice: he mixes his linear drum machine tempos with complex synth sounds that always lean toward a mix of Surf Rock and 80s sound aesthetics. His warm voice, although sometimes atypical, conveys a sensitivity and diversity unique to his musical inspirations.

Since the launch of his debut EP, “Slide Away”, in 2019 and his singles, “Don’t Tell Me You’re Sorry” and “I Hope You Know”, in 2020, he has been performing live throughout Switzerland and opened for acts like James Morrison at sold-out concerts like at the Volkhaus in Zurich. His songs have also been featured on Spotify playlists such as “Van Life” and “New Music Friday.” He was nominated as a finalist of the M4Music Demotape Clinic.

In 2021, he debuted with the release of the EP, “Shift”, through which he proves that he’s hard to be forgotten. On the 6-song EP, he shows his versatility by singing sweet ballads while exuding summer sensations with titles like “Don’t You Ever Change”. In the summer of 2021, he launched his single, “Strawberry Jam”, an audiovisual journey in which Seb addresses reflections and questions that preoccupy him. In 2022, it is with the single “Darling” that he successfully shares his emotions during his concerts at Zermatt Unplugged and Montreux Jazz Festival.
